Routine calibration and preventive maintenance
On an annual basis, the equipment can be returned for full functional
test and calibration, minor upgrades (safety and functional modifications
in accordance with the latest Manta Test Systems engineering change
orders and EPROMs) and other regular preventive maintenance.
Any new addenda to the operation manual, and applications notes
will also be provided.
Repairs as needed Any repairs required
to the equipment as covered by the product warranty will be done
at no extra charge for labor. Parts are excluded in order to
keep the standard prices low. A full functional test and calibration
is included with any repair performed.
A full functional test and calibration is included with any
repair performed. A calibration certificate and sticker is issued
upon completing the calibration. All calibrations are performed
in our ISO 9001:2000 registered facilities, and are traceable to
national standards. The functional test and calibration is a comprehensive
test of all equipment functions and is equivalent to the testing
and inspection performed on a newly produced product. Typical calibration
and functional tests for 2 instruments are shown below.

Sometimes an instrument inspection is required before we can offer
a Full-Service Agreement. This usually occurs when an instrument's
warranty has expired. Should the condition of the equipment preclude
coverage, we will provide a quotation for the repairs necessary
to qualify your instrument.
If any repairs are required which are not covered by the Full-Service
Agreement, the customer will be notified before proceeding with
the work. These are detailed in the Manta Test Systems product warranty
and include repairs due to abuse, shipping damage or unauthorized
modifications. Standard time and material rates apply to these repairs.
Pricing is dependent on the cost of the equipment, average cost
of calibration/repair and age of the equipment. To avoid delays,
the customer service department must be notified prior to returning
equipment for calibration to schedule return. The Full-Service Agreement
is effective for 1 year from the date on which payment is received
for the contract. Manta Test Systems reserves the right to adjust
the price yearly. However up to 3 years may be paid in advance in
order to lock in the price.
