The MTS-1750 is a high current source designed to be used with the MTS-1700 system to produce a high current protective relay test system. Currents of up to 125 amps RMS and 600VA can be generated when used with the MTS-1710. The microprocessors in the MTS-1700 system are used to control the current from the MTS-1750. This allows the MTS-1750 to work seamlessly with the MTS-1700 system. Any waveform shape can be reproduced including sinewaves with DC offsets and transients.

The current output is easily parallelable with most other Manta Test Systems products. When three MTS-1750s are used with the MTS-1710 and MTS-1720 , the system can produce 125 Amps of 3-phase current or up to 375 Amps single phase.

  (When combined with the MTS-1710 current output, produces 125A output)
• Higher currents are obtainable when multiple channels are paralleled together

  Note: Maximum obtainable current will vary inversely with load impedance. Output power, voltage, and current specifications are for nominal 120VAC/60Hz power input and 25 degrees Celsius ambient operating temperature. Derating applies for lower input power voltages and higher ambient temperatures.
