Specifications

Power Supply
  • Single phase 108-133 VAC/60Hz (or 216-264 VAC/50Hz), 200VA max, factory set

Outputs

Single phase AC voltage:

  • 0-155V rms, 15 VA maximum
  • Accuracy +/-0.1%of full scale +/-2 least significant digits, for 10%-100% of full scale
  • Four color coded output terminals, A, B, C, N provided.
  • Selectable phase-phase (A-B, C-B, C-A) or phase-neutral (A-N, B-N, C-N) output
  • All phase-neutral, or A-B plus C-B outputs, may be selected simultaneously

Single phase AC current:

  • 0-6A rms, 18 VA maximum
  • Accuracy +/-0.1%of full scale +/-2 least significant digits, for 10%-100% of full scale
  • Three pairs of color coded output terminals, A, B, C provided.
  • Each phase output and polarity independently controllable, and group reverse switch provided

Phase angle:

  • Power factor is pushbutton selectable between 1.0 and 0.5
  • Angle between current and voltage adjustable between -90 to +90 deg, accuracy resolution: 1 degree.

Frequency:

  • Default 60.00Hz
  • Variable 50.00 - 70.00 Hz (crystal controlled, 0.01% accuracy)
  • Optional 45.00 - 55.00 Hz range

Transducer Inputs

  • 9 input channels for DC current from external transducers
  • 20 mA continuous, 30mA absolute maximum
  • 0-1mA, (4-20mA optional) ranges
  • Full-scale inputs correspond to 150V, 5A, 500W, 500VARs per phase. Other full scale ranges [100-155V, 1.5-5.5A, 100-550 W/VAR] programmable (at reduced accuracy). Other full scale inputs available via special order.
  • Frequency transducer full scale input programmable to any frequency between between 50.00 - 70.00Hz, unipolar or bipolar.
  • 1, 2, or 3 element power transducers accepted. Special scaling for 2.5 element transducers selected via menu (1mA range only).
  • Quick connect cable connector provided for channels #1-8, five-way binding posts for channel #9
  • Load on selected channel adjustable (70 ohms - 100 kohms +/-1% +/-5ohms in 120 ohms steps.

%Error Measurement

  • Error between device under test and internal reference standard is displayed directly in percent of full scale for volts, amps, Watts and VARs. [Bracketed values apply to menu programmed non-standard output ranges]
  • Range: 0.01%-9.99% [0.1%-9.9%]
  • Accuracy: +/-0.1% [+/-0.2%] (volts, amps, Watts), or +/-0.125% [+/-0.25%] VARs, for values of 10%-100% of full scale and load resistance > 5% of maximum value.
  • Rated accuracy maintained for load resistances 5-100% of ( 10kohm (0-1mA range), 700ohm (4-20mA range) ).
  • Frequency error measurement: +/-0.135% of full scale in mA
  • Minimum 20 minutes warmup time required to reach rated accuracy, 30 minutes if initial instrument temperature is less than 18 deg. C
  • Alarm limit programmable 0.10%-2.00%
  • External milliamp measurement accuracy: +/-0.125% of full scale

RS-232C Interface
